INVITATION FOR COOPERATION

(A foreign-language theological journal was founded in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin)

The publishing sector occupies an important place in the activities of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. An important direction in this sector is the publication of periodicals and official papers. Since the second half of the 19^th century, Holy Etchmiadzin has a successful experience of publishing scientific and popular periodicals. The magazines and newspapers published by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin have played and continue to play an exceptional role among the Armenian-language periodicals, especially in terms of the development of Armenian studies. However, none of them is international in terms of scientometric requirements.

Therefore, with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, a new foreign-language (English, French, German and Russian) journal "Echmiadzin Journal of Theology and Religious Studies" was founded under the leadership of the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, which will include only scientific articles, becoming a foreign-language theological-religious journal (thematic focus) of the Armenian Apostolic Church, with the aim of being included in the databases of international scientific periodicals in the future (in particular, Scopus, Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science), etc.).

With the blessing of His Holiness, the editorial staff and editorial board have been formed.

The editorial board invites all theologians and religious scholars to cooperate with this periodical.
